It is one of the few tourist sites that represents not only the area itself, but also modern concepts of environmental protection in an attractive and engaging format for visitors. Here, tourists can receive interesting information about the region, protected natural areas, the richness of its flora and fauna, the culture and everyday life of local residents, and visit a museum room dedicated to Hutsulshchyna.

The two-storey visitor centre building consists of different sections that present environmental education, the main attractions of the Carpathian NNP, local Hutsul culture, and rules of conduct in nature. An original reproduction of the Chornohora Range is represented by a mountain model showing peaks exceeding 2,000 metres above sea level. There are also two dioramas depicting different natural complexes: aquatic, forest, and subalpine ecosystems.

In the multimedia conference hall, visitors are offered a screening of an exclusive demonstration film about the geography, history, ethnography, and tourist attractions of the Carpathian region.
